Spreading of goods and money relations onto information products is researched. Topicality of the problem of information goods price is grounded. The research of pricing mechanism in the information sphere of economy is made on the basis of existing theories of value and price. The specifics of forming price for information goods are revealed. They are connected with factors which determine minimal and maximal level of the price. Reasons for decline in the prices for information goods with regard to the prices for services and material goods are researched. It is shown that contemporary price trends are the reflection of the branch structure transformation of economy.
