Essay

Object: repair regeneration of bone tissue, osteogenic properties of rat bone marrow cells. Aim: to study the morphological features of bone repair process at alimentary calcium deficiency. Methods: histological, electron-microscopic, morphometric, statistic analysis. Results: at a low-calcium diet the osteoporotic disturbances develop in a bone; there is deceleration of repair osteogenesis process on early stages with subsequent delay of forming and reorganization of regenerate tissues; reduction of display of osteogenic potential of the bone marrow cells transplanted in an ectopic site is marked. Novelty: ratio distortion of cells (increase in neutrophiles, decrease in macrophages, tissues basophiles, fibroblasts) and decline in functional activity of macrophages in regenerate at the osteorepair stages of inflammation and cell proliferation is first exposed. The analysis of area of the bone tissue formed ectopically after transplantation of bone marrow cells under a skin confirmed oppression of osteogenic properties of these cells at the increase of duration of low-calcium diet and age of rats (both donors and recipients). It is introduced in an educational process and research work of three universities in Ukraine. Field of the use: histology, cytology, traumatology, veterinary science
