object - lexico-phaseological units to represent the concept of "Will-Power-Freedom" in the Ukrainian language; objective - to explicate the notional content and structural organization of the concept of "Will-Power-Freedom" in the Ukrainian linguistic world image and the peculiarities of its verbal representation in the Ukrainian language; methods - descriptive, conceptual analysis, elements of componential, historic-etymological, quantitative, psycholinguistic methods, distributional, of contextual interpretation, frame and metaphoric modelling; the novelty consists in the fact, that for the first time in the Ukrainian linguistics the analysis of the concept of "Will-Power-Freedom" is conducted on the vast language matter, which includes lexicographic and textual sources of various time scale and stylistic value, folklore, contemporary language; results - the notional structure of the concept is modelled cosidering the links of lexico-semantic variants, metaphoric and metonymic processes, the structural elements of the model are reconsidered, the intra- and extralingual factors of the conceptual content are defined, the conceptual unity of all the meanings of the polysemous word will, which is not explicit on the semantic level, is demonstrated, the methodology of an abstract noun conceptual analysis is revised, author's understanding of the terms "linguistic world image" and "concept" are given, 10 phraseosemantic groups representing the analysed concept are distinguished and analysed; the research area - lingistic conceptology, cognitive linguistics
