3. The subject of research in this dissertation is a feed-stuff production technology, where non-processed linen seeds are used as a specific ingredient. The dissertation is aimed to enhance competitiveness of national feed-stuff production industry through expanding raw material source by means of linen seeds use and improvement of current aqua feed production technology. The chemical content of raw materials and end product were determined and biochemical changes taking place in the course of raw materials processing were explored in accordance with generally accepted procedures using the following laboratory equipment: amino-acid analyzer, chromatograph, photoelectric colorimeter. The extruding was carried out with the extruder of PEK - 40x5V type. For the first time ever it was experimentally proved the feasibility of extruded grain mixtures and aqua feed production based on grain varieties (wheat, maize, barley) with non-processed linen seeds addition. The comparative analysis of chemical content for different linen cultivars was conducted; it was proved the feasibility of using the certain linen cultivars for improvement of aqua feed. It was experimentally determined and proved from scientific point of view the biochemical changes taking place during extrusion processing in grain mixtures with addition of linen seeds. The new types of aqua feeds were developed and the improved technology of their production is being proposed for companies of different property forms operating within feed-stuff industry of Ukraine. The major provisions and conclusions formulated in this dissertation can be used for education purposes for teaching specialists in the field of "Nutrition technology and engineering".
