Psheslinskyy D. Forming of commodity policy of trade enterprise

In dissertation a commodity policy is considered in control system of a trading enterprise, methodical and applied principles of analysis and design of its parameters, and also certain directions of develompent. In dissertation the essence of commodity policy of trading enterprise is considered as systems of principles and administrative actions, directed on forming of assortment, price and logistic components which in the continuous mode must provide effective activity of enterprise on the basis of strengthening of its market position. The concept of "assortment sufficientness" is inserted to scientific terminology, which shows the list of possible amount of varieties of commodities in a shop exceeding of which results in the decline of level of the maintenance of users. Description of the term "modal commodities" is given, which include assortment varieties which have the biggest demand in this period at the proper regional market and serve as the object of near-term administrative attention for providing increase in commodity turnover. A system of typification of grocery stores is proposed taking into account the integral reflection of all their varieties depending on the size of trade area and the amount of assortment positions. The mechanism of management of commodity policy components is found on the basis of modelling the parameters of the shops of different types with the purpose of adjusting the volume of their commodity turnover. The basic results of research found the application in practice of trade enterprises of Ukraine.
