Essay

Thesis is dedicated to problems of improvement of special equipment for railway wheels furnishing. The purpose is to raise accuracy of an obtained product and reliability of machine tools based on theoretical and experimental research of their operation parameters. This thesis provides new scientifically based theoretical and experimental results. Results are essential for solution of the actual problem of dynamic accuracy rising of the wheel profile. It is augmented choice of dynamic and working parameters of the main mechanisms of wheel working equipment. The problem of equipment improvement is solved on the basis of complex theoretical and experimental research of real design of special machine tools functioning at metallurgical plant. It is determined by means of simulation that loading of a carriage and saddle, forming a ripple of a real wheel (with a biharmonic rough tolerance) cause multiple clearances in feed drives and increasing of profile geometry error. It is defined qualitative and quantitative conditions based on stable movement without clearance increasing. The structure analysis and rational synthesis of main machine tool mechanisms are performed. Developed and implemented recommendations that consist of decreasing number of harmful redundant links.
