Mazur M. Judicial Acts as the Sources of Constitutional Law of Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the research on peculiarities of the legal nature of judicial acts, which identify the place and role of these documents in the system of sources of Constitutional law of Ukraine. The main points of the conception of Constitutional law sources have been analyzed; the classifica-tion of these sources has been made; the legal comparative analysis of the judicial precedent in common law and civil law countries has been conducted; the legal nature of decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and courts of general jurisdiction has been clarified, and the place of these decisions in Ukrainian legal system has been identified. The results of the research lead to the conclusion that the significance of judicial acts in the system of the sources of national Constitutional law has increased recently; other statements and recommendations aimed at improving Ukrainian legislation and legal practice have been developed.
