Dissertation is a clinical-experimental research and is devoted to development of perspective approaches to the decision of problem of a local treatment of purulent wounds. In the experiment an effective impact of surgical drapes with immobilizing metal complex of bivalent copper on the course of wound process with modeled purulent wound is confirmed. Accelerated healing of purulent wounds in animals as compared to traditional preparations for a local treatment is proved. The results of clinical researches revealed a noticeable advantage in the course of the І phase of wound process in the wounds in surgical patients on application of surgical drapes with metal complex as compared to traditional preparations, used in surgical practice. A simple and at the same time an effective procedure of a local treatment of purulent-necrotic complications of post-operative wounds in patients, using surgical drapes with metal complex is developed. The use of the developed procedure of a local treatment allowed to reduce the terms of course of a wound process in patients on the average by 2,88 days, and in doing so to accelerate conducting of the next stages of treatment of a wound.
