Object of research: relations which arise up in the process of organization and realization of import of medications. Purpose of research: development of new scientific positions and practical recommendations on perfection of the legal adjusting of import of medications. Research methods: system-analytical, system-structural analysis, comparatively-legal, abstracting, statistical. The theoretical and practical meaning consists in the decision of scientific-practical task on the improvement of the legal adjusting of import of medications taking into account the general going near organization and realization of economic activity. The suggestion on the improvement of the legal adjusting of import of medications grounded. Suggestion on the improvement of legislation passed in Verhovna Rada of Ukraine. Drawn on research results during forming and realization of the methodical pointing the State inspection on control of quality of medications in the Donetsk area of Ministry of health of Ukraine, and also by Public organization the "Donetsk regional pharmaceutical association". Conclusions and suggestions can be used for the revision of Law of Ukraine "About medications" and at preparation of textbooks, train aids for research workers, lawyers-practical workers, teachers, graduate students and students of legal institutes of higher. Scientific novelty: dissertation is devoted research of the legal regulation of import of medications. Certainly essence of concept "import of medications" in his correlation with a general concept "import (import of commodities)". Found out the features of import of medications and certainly his place among other types of economic activity. Grounded necessity of licensing of import of medications. The features of the economic-legal regulation of import of medications are certain as to the type of foreign economic activity. Argued necessity of modernization of the systems of certification and standardization of medications which are imported on territory of Ukraine, in the context of adaptation of legislation of Ukraine to the right for European Union. Investigational contractual relations, terms and forms of accounts, in the field of import of medications. An order and methods of import of medications is analyzed. The features of economic-legal responsibility of subjects of import of medications are certain. Suggestions are developed in relation to the improvement of the legal regulation of import of medications. Sphere of the use: subjects of initiation of bill; organs of state administration; judicial administration; management subjects; higher educational institutions.
