Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to improving the results of external pancreatic fistula treatment through elaboration and improvement of tactical approaches and treatment techniques. We have developed and successfully implemented the technique of mini-invasive fistulogastrostomy under endoscopic control; a special drainage used during distal resection of pancreas; and the method of pancreatojejunostomy with invagination and with additional hermetization in case of partial resection of pancreas. As a result, the rate of postoperative complications decreased from 45.8 to 10.3%; good and satisfactory results of treatment were obtained in 45.6 and 35.9% of cases respectively
