Object - the process of students' learning achievements assessment in higher educational institutions; the aim - to find out the efficiency of implementing the developed scientifically substantiated and experimentally checked qualimetrical models and comparison of students' achievement levels in various assessment systems to promote the quality of professional training; methods - theoretical, empirical, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty - this research has been the first one to provide a comparative analysis of existing scales for measuring students' learning achievements, qualimetrical models and models for prospective specialists' learning achievements in various assessment systems have been worked out and substantiated, the levels of teachers and students' efforts on a one hundred point scale for evaluation of the levels of students' learning achievements have been specified , the definitions of the notions "measurement", "assessment", "students' learning achievements in higher educational institutions", "qualimetrical and assessment model" have been further developed; results - qualimetrical models and models for students' learning achievements comparison in various assessment systems have been designed and implemented, methodologies for their practical implementation have been worked out, teaching and methodological materials for the teaching staff of higher educational institutions have been made ; field - pedagogy
