Essay

This work is dedicated to the ways of how to increase healing process of children with displastic scoliosis of I-II degree by means of stage by stage differential application of kinezio- and electrotherapy at hospital and sanatorium premises. Basing on a complex research of 164 children aged 7 - 16 years with displastic scoliosis of I-II degree a new comprehensive evaluation of orthopedic and functional condition of children with mentioned abnormality has been found out. High effectiveness level of combined kineziotherapy as monotherapy at a stage of out-patient treatment as well as at complex sanatorium treatment (climate therapy, balneotherapy, massage, electrotherapy).It has been proved that TENS therapy, combined with sanatorium treatment of children with displastic scoliosis of I-II degree, showed high miorelaxing effect to spasmatic juxtaspinal mussels and differential bilateral electrotherapy (TENS combined with sinewave modulated currents) improved symmetrization of juxtaspinal mussels tone. Application of combined kineziotherapy and differential electrotherapy to children with displastic scoliosis of I-II degree showed good results in 84,6 % of cases.
