Essay

The thesis covers development of new approaches in treatment of patients with hypertension of II degree with metabolic syndrome based on complex application of drug treatment together with ozone therapy and magnetotherapy. The results of the study made showed that application of ozone therapy in complex treatment of patients with hypertension of II degree with metabolic syndrome increased efficacy of this treatment of patients at the hospital stage at the expense of improvement of the clinical symptomatology, antihypertensive effect, positive influence on the structural and geometrical indices of the heart promoting regress of the pathological remodeling of the myocardium and reducing mass index of the myocardium of the left ventricle.This treatment complex reduces dislipid manifestations of the metabolic syndrome and influences positively on the indices of abdominal obesity and carbohydrate metabolism. Efficacy of ozone therapy exceeds reliably the results of low frequency magnetotherapy. A repeated course of ozone therapy at the out-patient stage of treatment of patients metabolic indices reaching normal and target values in majority of the patients.
