Essay

The dissertation is devoted to a problem of formation of chemistry courses for secondary schools in Great Britain. The theoretical and didactical bases of the concept of Science content formation in Ukraine and Great Britain are revealed in the dissertation. The characterised criteria of the theoretical descriptive analysis of school textbooks in Ukraine which have been used for the analysis of English textbooks of chemistry are concretised. In the dissertation scientifically-methodical maintenance of an English school course of chemistry is characterised, the basic didactical and methodical characteristics of school textbooks of chemistry are described.
