In the dissertation the use of distributing additional educational materials in the process of foreign language teaching of primary school pupils' is founded. It is systematized the typology of additional educational materials. The criteria of content selection of additional educational materials are determinated. The didactic conditions of effective and expedient utilization of distributing additional educational materials in the process of foreign language teaching of primary school pupils' are characterized. The necessity of taking them into consideration is scientifically based. We offer the model of study intended for the development of foreign language communicative competence by means of distributing additional educational materials use. Scientific research gives recommendations of effective selection and utilization of distributing additional educational materials in the process of foreign language teaching of primary school pupils'
