The dissertation is devoted to the research of the problem of forming psychological competence of foreign language teachers at the higher military educational establishments. Under the analysis of the essence of psychological competence of the teacher at the higher educational establishment and determination of its place and significance in the structure of his professional competence and within his professional activities, the structure of psychological competence of the teacher at the higher educational establishment has been improved and the content of the concept "psychological competence of foreign language teacher at the higher military educational establishment" has been defined. The parameters of psychological competence of foreign language teachers at the higher military educational establishments have been defined. The program of forming psychological competence of foreign language teachers at the higher military educational establishments has been developed and its efficiency has been experimentally tested. The practical recommendations concerning forming psychological competence of foreign language teachers at the higher military educational establishments have been developed.
