Essay

In the dissertation work notion of composite fuzzy sets is defined and their properties are examined. The problem of resource allocation in two-level hierarchical computer system with dedicated server is reviewed, an algorithm of control of resources usage in the system is developed. The algorithm takes into account resources' limited nature. Approaches, based on neural and functional differential models, are proposed for simulation of functioning of a distributed software system. Analytical solutions for hybrid systems are found. The approach to describe situations in scenario-precedent systems is developed; method of assessing closeness of current and basic situations is reviewed. The technique of creating and processing of fuzzy databases is proposed. The method for forming fuzzy relations in relational databases is implemented by creating views of a special kind. Clustering algorithms combining fuzzy data and decision-making in situations with multiple fuzzy input data are proposed to support decision making under uncertainty. The basic aspects, design and development of information system for management and control of management processes, which utilize the methods and algorithms for processing fuzzy data, are examined.
