Detsyk D. The complex approach to the treatment of the scary ventral hernias using polypropylene implants

The dissertation is devoted to an actual problem of scarу ventral hernia surgical treatment. The basic purpose of research is to improve the results of surgical treatment of patient with scary ventral hernia by development of the differentiated approach to a choice of a plastics method of hernias using polypropylene implant and prophylaxes of postoperative complications. The results of treatment of 140 patients with scary ventral hernia (SVH) were analyzed. Patients have been divided into groups depending on localization of hernia defect (M, L - SWR classification). Group of patients with localization of defect М1-33 (23,6 %), with localization of defect M 2 - 42 (30 %), with localization of М3 - 42 (30 %), with localization of M 4 - 13 (9,3 %), with localization of L - 10 (7,1 %) patients. Reconstructive and correction ways of a plastic are offered as the hernioplasty final stage at SVH. Various kinds of reconstructive operations are executed at 124 (88,6 %) patients. Correction technique plastics are executed at 16 (11,4 %) patients. We execute 29 simultaneous operations in a combination with plasty of SVH. Plastic remedial procedures are executed in 56 (40 %) cases.
