Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to the research of peculiarities of autonomous regulation of cardiac rhythm, cholinoreceptors sensitivity, content and enzymatic hydrolysis of acetylcholine, metabolic and structural changes in rats’ myocardium at adrenaline damage depending on the age and gender of animals. It is found, that ageing is characterized by increased influence of adrenergic chain of autonomous nervous system on cardiac activity and by decreased – of cholinergic one, cholinoreceptors sensitivity, content and activity of enzymatic hydrolysis of acetylcholine diminish. Such changes are more evident in female rats. Realization of cardiotoxic adrenaline effect in aged rats, comparing to adult ones, leads to more significant decrease of cholinoreceptors sensitivity, diminishes acetylcholine content and causes higher degree of necrotic myocardial damage, especially in female rats.
