Kolisnyk V. Grain yield and quality of winter wheat using green manures in the conditions of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine

Object: improvement of yield and grain quality in winter wheat due to soil fertility increase while using green manure. Aim: perfection of winter bread wheat growing technology based on green manure fertilizer application. Methods: field, laboratory, comparative-canculated, thermostatic weighed, math-statistical. Novelty: specific features of growth and yield formation and grain quality in winter wheat depended on forecrops-green manure are defined; the rates of elements of mineral nutrition usage by winter wheat varieties depending on forecrops-green manure are determined; the combined influence of green manure and mineral fertilizers and seed treatment with "Baikal-EM-1-U" preparation on grain yield and grain quality of winter wheat is ascertained. Results: main methods of winter wheat growing technology worked out by the author with the forecrops-green manure usage ensure the improvement of soil fertility agrochemical indices and yield increase of winter wheat. Application stage: the results of the studies have been tested on the farm conditions of Plant Production Institute nd. a. V. Ya. Yuriev of UAAS and introduced into production in SIEF "Elitne" of PPI nd. a. V. Ya. Yuriev, AF "Novyi shlyakh" of Borovskyi district of Kharkiv Oblast, SIEF of Sumy Institute of AIP on total area of 122 hectares. Application area: introduction into agricultural production of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, inclusion to zone scientifically grounded systems of agricultural production management.
