Essay

The process of civil society in Ukraine was analyzed. The evolution of the concept of civil society content was traced, the contents of contemporary approaches to determining the nature of civil society disclosed. It have been established that the main contradiction in the process of establishing civil society in Ukraine is the discrepancy between the already acquired forms of democratic civil society role in the state. In this work there was proved that the uncritical copying an ideal framework of civil society is unable to ensure the formation of effective institutions of civil society in Ukraine.
