Object - the process of teaching senior pupils in comprehensive schools; the aim - to find out the efficiency of different modes of senior pupils' intellectual mobility forming and to evaluate their influence on the level of pupils' achievements in learning; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research has been the first one to present the definition of the term "senior pupils' intellectual mobility" which is characterized as an integral personality formation including intellectual skills, creative aptitudes and personal qualities, the criteria and indices of the levels of senior pupils' intellectual mobility formation are specified, the role of intellectual skills and characteristics for senior pupils' intellectual mobility forming and development is analysed; results - scientific and methodological materials aimed at the implementation of theoretically justified and practically tested modes of senior pupils' intellectual mobility forming in the comprehensive school teaching process have been worked out ; field - pedagogy
