Nesterenko A. Etiopathogenetic basement of halvanosis prophylaxis in patients with fixed metallic dentures

The thesis is devoted to the actual problem of modern medicine - to work up the method of halvanosis prophylaxis in patients with fixed metal-lic dentures basing on the study of their clinical, physical, chemical, im-mune and metabolic parameters. For the first time the contamination of oral cavity by lactobacilli is studied; the direct correlation between the contamination level and acidity, electrical conductivity, tension and force of halvanic microcurrents is established. The level of lysozyme, secretory immunoglobulin A, prostaglandin E2, dien conjugates, malone dialdehyde, activity of catalase and superoxide dismutase, phagocytic activity of oral liquid neutrophils is studied in patients with halvanosis. It is shown that with the increase of orthopedic units quantity made from different metals the immune, microbiological and metabolic disorders are increasing.
