The thesis deals with the complex research of the registration activity of the public administration. It is grounded that the registration activity is a sublegislative, authoritative activity of the public administration pertaining to registering the facts, phenomena, information or certain material objects with the aim of their public registration and control, verification of the validity and granting them the legal status. The national registration activity of the public administration in the context of carrying out and observing the European standards is investigated.
