Lokaychuk S. Modern Ukrainian archeological terminological system (structural-semantic aspect)

Complex linguistic analysis of historically formed Ukrainian archeological terminological system as a component of national scientific terminology was realized in thesis for the first time in Ukrainian science of language. The terms system of archeology, their composition and structural types were considered, the principal sources and denomination methods of archeological notions were determined, lexically-semantic phenomena, which are in archeological terminological system were analyzed at modern synchronous stage. In thesis it was established that the periodization of its development was proposed, the national specificity and international essence of modern Ukrainian archeological terminological system was discovered at semantic, lexical and word-formation levels.
