Praslova V. Architecture-planning organization of underground trade and entertaining complexes

In the dissertation research the process of architecture-planning organization of the underground trade and entertaining complexes was completely examined for the first time. The planning and building features of the underground trade and entertaining complexes were studied and systematized, the main historical stages of development and evolution of foreign and Ukrainian underground trade and entertaining complexes were determined, and the differences of their development were traced. The factors, which have influence on the underground trade and entertaining complexes' formation, were defined. The main types were defined, and the classification of the underground trade and entertaining complexes was developed for the first time. The recommendations for functional structure of the underground trade and entertaining complexes were developed, the recommendations for proportions of functional zones for contemporary Ukrainian underground trade and entertaining complexes were offered. The planing units nomenclature was developed, the planing unit types were defined for the main planning schemes. Planing acceptances for compositional solutions of the underground trade and entertaining complexes were developed. Principles and methods of architectural and space organization of the underground trade and entertaining complexes were formulated, and organization methods, which provide illumination environment unity were also defined.
