Essay

For the first time for last 40 years in Right-bank Polesye of Ukraine based on complex researches the estimation of genepool of lawn grasses of a family of Poaceae (representatives of 4 genuses, 17 species and 20 cultivars) is given and high adaptive species (red fescue, bent fescue, thin-leaves fescue and thin bent grass) are selected. The mechanisms of growth, development of plants, ecological plasticity and stability of lawn grasses depending on species and cultivars features are established. The elements of growing technology of seeds of red fescue are developed (village Bohdanka).The peculiarities of sucker making are determined, seeds productivity and decorative effect of lawn grasses depending on species and cultivars features and conditions of vegetation are defined. The energy and economic efficiency of elements of growing technology of lawn grasses and seeds is given. The developed technology has allowed to increase yield of seeds and to improve their quality indicators.
