The thesis deals with the problemof grammatical and stylistic skills of the students in the process of self-employment. The content, the best ways and methods of work on the development of grammatical and stylistic dexterity of future Ukrainian literature and language teachert wereefined on the dasis of the analisis of the theoretical aspects. The experimetal program was worked out considering theintegration of the courses of grammar of modern Ukrainian language and functional stylistic, which foresee the studying of the stylistic information about the grammatical means of language.
