Essay

Object - reactions of [2+3]-cyclocondensation in synthesis of 4-thiazolidones, condensation reactions of 4-thiazolidine derivatives in methylene active group in position 5, reactions of acylation, alkylation and aminolysis; aim - synthesis of new thiazolidine derivatives with benzothiazole moiety in their molecules and search of effective and low-toxic agents with anticancer, antimycobacterial and antiviral activities among them; methods - traditional organic synthesis, mass-spectrometry, IR- and NMR-spectroscopies, X-ray analysis, elemental analysis, pharmacological screening, QSAR-analysis, docking; novelty - the effective new methods of synthesis and chemical modification for thiazolidine with benzothiazole moiety in molecules have been worked out, biological activity of synthesized compounds have been studied and "structure-activity" correlations have been carried out; the outcomes - the row of new perspective highly-active compounds, possessing antitumor, antimycobacterial and antiviral activities has been identified, recommendations for rational design of potential antitumor agents have been proposed based on obtaining data, docking and QSAR-analysis; these were introduced into scientific and educational process of National Pharmaceutical University, Zaporizzhia State Medical University, National University "Lviv Politechnic"; area - pharmacy.
