Essay

Object - process of broadband signal formation, transmission and processing in multimedia digital information transmission systems (DITS). The purpose - development of analysis methods and practices of building protected high-speed DITS, taking into account the branch radio channel they have, with the aim to create multimedia departmental communication systems. Methods - radiocommunication theory, antenna theory, radio wave propagation theory, digital signal processing theory, computer simulation theory, full-scale experiment theory. Results - it has been proved that in case of high-speed long-distance multimedia information transmission it is necessary to shift from development of single-channel systems to building of multi-channel communication systems; a model and a hardware solution of four-channel DITS have been proposed for the first time, with 20 Mbit/s bandwidth, satisfying the requirements of high-quality video transmission according to various standards in departmental DITS and adapted for operation using current cable communication lines. It is introduced - into pilot lot of "Quadro" DITS tested in the communication system of Emergency Service Center "102" GUMVS Kharkiv. Sphere of application - communication systems
