Kashtalian O. Inflexion Paradigmatics of Ukrainian Surnames.

The thesis is the result of the first complex linguistic research of the inflexion system of Ukrainian surnames in the aspect of morphological paradigmatics. The thesis covers specification and analysis of elementary paradigmatic classes of the surnames of substantive type (I and II declensions of hard, soft, mixed groups), of adjectival type, of zero declension and of the surnames of different ways of declination. The research considers morphological, lexical semantic, word-forming, syntagmatic and other factors. There have been made repertory glossaries of the system of elementary paradigmatic classes of Ukrainian surnames.
