Essay

An object of research is a process of interval forecasting of time-series with the use of interval type-2 fuzzy sets under uncertainty conditions. A purpose of research is increasing the quality of interval forecasting of time-series under uncertainty conditions. Research methods are based on main principles of fuzzy set theory, decision making theory, optimization theory, mathematical statistics and time-series analysis. A scientific novelty is concluded in development of new information technology of interval forecasting of time-series that is based on the proposed aggregating interval type-2 fuzzy model which consists of a collection of interval type-2 fuzzy models, the proposed aggregation method of interval forecasts of interval type-2 fuzzy models, the proposed quality parameter of interval type-2 fuzzy models for interval forecasting of time series and the proposed method of building aggregating interval type-2 fuzzy model. The practical importance of the research findings is concluded in development of the software that allows to solve interval forecasting problems of time series in practice and in fulfillment of interval forecasting of spot area of laser trace, of patients number which will come for treatment and of consumer price index. The research findings are implemented in Sanatorium "Podillya". A field of use includes enterprises, organizations and establishments which use forecasting for increasing the quality of decision making.
