The dissertation is devoted to analysis of natural, climatic, ethnographic, social and historical real practice, that have an influence upon style development of religious wooden architecture of South Ukraine in the XVIII-XX century. On the base of archival, iconographic sources and natural materials, which was investigated, formed index memorials, that was unknown before this time (XVIII-XX c). There are typological, planning, volume features shaping of wooden churches of South Ukraine is defined.
