Kryzhnyi S. The Civil Collaboration as a social phenomenon (on a case of Kharkiv-city under the occupation period of 1941-1943).

The object: civil collaborationism; The aim: sociological conceptualization of civil collaborationism manifestations during the Great Patriotic War; The research methods: comparative analysis and synthesis, system analysis, typologization, interdisciplinary approach; The theoretical and practical results: the conceptualization of civil collaborationism as social phenomenon is made in phenomenological sociology; the contemporary knowledge about manifestations and characteristics of civil collaborationism during the German occupation of big cities on the territory of Ukraine is deepened; The novelty: firstly in Ukrainian sociology the conceptualization of civil collaborationism as social phenomenon is done basing on the social theory of everyday life and its manifestations are specified within the context of Great Patriotic War with the specific reference for Kharkiv region. The level of implementation: statements and research results may be used in scientific researches and for the development of learning courses in Sociology of Everyday Life, Historical Sociology, Conflictology, Sociology of Culture, Qualitative Methods, etc.
