Lyska O. Local Community as the Subject of Local Self-Government

Object of research: the process of functioning of elements of the system of local self-government. The purpose: theoretical ground and development of practical recommendations of improvement of activity of local communities as subjects of local self-government. Methods: structurally-functional analysis, comparison, sociological questioning, statistical analysis, induction, deduction, design, prognostication. Results: grounded directions of improvement of activity and development of local communities as subjects of local self-government in Ukraine. Novelty: there were specified the status of local community, determined and grounded approaches to involvement its members in realization of local self-government. It is implemented in practice of authorities in the Poltava region. Areas of use: public administration, local government, training and retraining of public servants.
