Hudz' L. Guaranteeing of Voting Rights of the Ukrainian Citizens and Activity of Militia in this Sphere.

The research is devoted to the constitutional and legal institution of guaranteeing of voting rights of the Ukrainian citizens which is connected with the activity of law-enforcement authorities, and among them – militia (police). The home and foreign practice of scientific research of guaranteeing of voting rights has been summarized and on this basis the gaps in the available doctrinal researches have been eliminated and author’s main directions of scientific research have been worked out. The author’s definition of the notion and mechanism of guaranteeing of voting rights of the Ukrainian citizens have been formulated. The detailed characteristics of the elements of the mechanism of guaranteeing of voting rights: constitutional and legal principles and functions, standard and legal regulations, subjects, guarantees have been given. The law-enforcement activity and forms of interaction of militia in the sphere of guaranteeing of voting rights of the Ukrainian citizens as well as the main kinds of violation of voting rights of the Ukrainian citizens and the activity of militia connected with their elimination have been analyzed.
