The dissertation is devoted to the grounding of choice in tactics and peculiarities of treatment for patients with colon obstruction, improvement of algorithm in diagnosing and complex medical treatment which is a new solution and actual, practical value of the aim that can be found in the improvement of treatment results for patients with colon obstruction by enhancing preoperative preparation, efficient choice in operational method with possible primary surgery with possible primary colon reconstruction, peculiarities of postoperative period and rehabilitation of patients. Optimal approach to rendering help for 512 patients at various stages of colon obstruction has been developed based on the study. Morphological and microbiological colon research proved the necessity of colon excision in continuity and intraoperative sanitization for decreasing the number of flimsy stitches of anastomoses at primary reconstructive surgery, indications for use have been determined. Importance of enterosorption use at early postoperative period and possibility to use cellular reactivity tests and intoxication with the aim of estimation of postoperative course have been proved. The use of the developed medical approaches led to decrease of postoperative complications from 33.33% to 18.56% and postoperative lethality from 15.47% to 6.84%, increase of performing primary rehabilitation operations from 21.4% to 42.4%.
