Zub S. Toxico-hygienic estimation of lead influence against the background of iododeficit and efficiency of iodoprophylactiс

The Dissertation deals with the studies of peculiarities of toxic action of lead nitrate against the background of iododeficit, modeling of thyreostatic introduction of mercazolyl. The intensification of the dose-dependent of lead toxic effects on the background of iodine deficiency in comparison with isolated action of this xenobiotic, resulting in the thyroid hyperplasia as to colloid-parenchymatous or parenchymato-colloid type, the follicular damage, clearly marked or subclinical hypothyroidosis, imbalance of lipoperoxidation processes and antioxidant defence, exertion of compensatory-adaptive mechanisms were revealed. The obtained results of the investigations have shown that potassium iodide possesses low efficacy as a prophylactic mean of iodine deficiency with the simultaneous lead introduction into organism. The above-effectiveness of potassium iodide can be improved due to the use of apple pectin and particular if there is a decrease of lead dose. The series of prophylactic measures as to the prevention of simultaneous harmful influence of iododeficit and lead are suggested.
