Eremina M. Securing the competitiveness of passenger traffic through the introduction of high-speed passenger traffic

Object of the study - is a process of providing of railway passenger transportation competitiveness. The Purpose - is development of theoretical principles and ground of scientific-practical recommendations to providing competitiveness of passenger transportations due to introduction of speed motion. The Methods - groupings, statistical correlations, structuring of aims, comparative and factor analysis, benchmarking, expert estimations and economics-mathematical. Practical importance - creation of the new approach to the decision of question of passenger transportations competitiveness increasing on the railways of Ukraine. The Degree of the introduction - the row of the offered positions of dissertation is taken into account at development of competition strategy of railways of Ukraine. Some positions of dissertation are applied in the educational process of Ukrainian state academy of railway transport, in the educational process of Institute of retraining and in-plant training of shots of UkrSART and at implementation of diploma works of master's degrees and specialists. Scientific novelty got result - the methodical approach to establishment of expediency, administrative pre-conditions (stages) of organization and directions of application of speed passenger motion on the railways of Ukraine is offered, conceptual approach to determination of optimal departure and arrival time of speed trains in the eventual points of motion, methodical approach to determination of composition of the train and maximally cost-effective amount of carriages in his composition are improved, method of settling of variable running expenses during realization of passenger transportations, determination of profitability of separate train functioning, grounding of the system of factors of railway passenger transport competitiveness purchased further development.
