Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the complex research of the lexical idisystem of the novel of the ancient greek writer of the end of the 2nd century A.D. Longus „Daphnis and Chloe". The connection between writer's lexical idiosystem and conceptual structure of fiction text was grounded. Comparative description of substantival dominants in the ancient greek novels of I-III century A.D. was carried out for confirmation of hypothesis about the unicity of Longus language style. The Longus's role in the development of lexical composition of ancient greek language was generalized. On the basis of selection of conceptually thematic fields („Nature", „Shepherd life", „Love") in lexical idiosystem it was succeeded to find out the features of functioning of dominant lexemes.
