Essay

Dissertation is dedicated for argumentation of approximately safe combination of cadmium and sodium ions levels in drinking water. It was proved at acute and subacute sanitary - toxicologic experiments that subtoxic doses of cadmium and sodium chlorides at drinking water have a negative influense on experimental animals. They cause dysfunction of antioxidant system, activate lipids peroxidation, change transferase immunologic activity of blood. The author was the first, who investigated the character of combined action of cadmium and sodium on the white rats at acute and subacute experiments. It was found, that cadmium and sodium ions at subtoxic doses in drinking water lead to the changes in white rats organism. They have more the additive action (potentiation), which was proved by biochemical and morphological experiments.
