Machak O. The syntactic structure of the complex sentences with intensively-concessive semantics

Thesis for a candidate degree in philology, major 10.02.01 - The Ukrainian language. - Kirovograd State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko. - Kirovograd, 2010. The analysis of semantic-syntactic structure of intensively-concessive is first carried out in candidate's dissertation. The thesis is devoted to research over 3000 intensively-concessive syntactic units, independently collected by the author with the help of the method of continuous selection and separate fixings from the works of artistic literature, scientific, folk-lore and publicity texts, internet publishing and dictionaries. The place of concessive constructions is found out in the system of complex sentence, the basic varieties of concessive suggestions are found out and described, place of intensively-concessive suggestions is set in the structure of concessive sentences, the semantic-syntactic analysis of intensively concessive constructions is conducted: the varieties of such suggestions are described and their quantitative correlation is found out. Besides, syntaxems of every variety of intensively-concessive complex sentences are selected and analyzed, basic formal grammatical communication of predicative parts of intensively-concessive compound means are described, the structure classes of these complex sentences are examined.
