The effects of sorbitol-based plasma substitute's rapid infusion in traumatic shock patients were investigated. Also the ability of such substitutes to decrease intracranial pressure in brain trauma patients was verified. Methods: impedance cardiograрhy, ICP measurement. Results: updating indications for the use of such solutions in traumatic shock and brain trauma.
