Shipko A. Modernization of functions of local self-government bodies in the sphere of population's health protection

The object of study-activities of local authorities in the field of public health in Ukraine.Tsel dissertation research-theoretical and methodological study ways to modernize the functions of local authorities in the field of public health. Research methods-scientific and special: the method of comparative analysis of abstract logical method; economic-mathematical analysis and systems approach, systematic and analytical metod.Scientific novelty of the results- identified the need for a paradigm shift control health care system with medical-oriented type, based on common citizens' rights and responsibilities of the state to socially-oriented type of management framework which supports zdorovesberegayuschaya strategy for local government operations; structured system of organ functions local government health management with the release of the traditional and modernized units as the basis for improving the quality of life of people in some administrative areas.
