Bondarenko O. The Infrastructure of Simple Sentence in Modern Ukrainian Language

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the simple sentence infrastructure in modern Ukrainian. The simple sentence has been analyzed from the viewpoint of the two-level structure. There has been made a complex analysis of the semantic-syntactical units of the infrastructural level (addresses, parentheses and parenthetic constructions, the author's words accompanying direct speech) in the belles-lettres, colloquial, and scientific styles. The author has determined a wide range of linear parameters of the infrastructure: from the morpheme and word to the sentence and text, investigated the prosodic organization of sentences with an infrastructure, and expanded the notion of the sentence infrastructure based on the augment of word semantics due to additional elements.
