Pyrogova K. The Art Interpretation of the Cossacks Image in the Ukrainian Poetry of the XIX - the beginning of the XX centuries.

The objects are poetic works of the Ukrainian poets of the second half of ХІХ - the beginning of the XX centuries. The aim is to study the specific of artistic design of the image of Cossacks model, and to expose the leading signs of transformation of historical realities in the poetry of the second half of ХІХ- the beginning of the XX centuries. The methods are analytically-descriptive, comparative-typological, hermeneutical, structural; system and imagologycal approaches. The work has been systematically analyzed the peculiarities of interpretation of the Cossacks' image in the historical poetry of the second part of the XIX - the beginning of the XX century's epoch. It has been concretized the revealing of the parity in the fiction versions and historical realia on the Cossacks' epoch in the works by S. Vorobkevych, B. Hrinchenko, M. Kononenko, V. Maslyak, G. Chuprynka, Ya. Shchogolev. The role of subject has been comprehended in the poetical works by I. Manzhura, S. Rudansky, M. Starytsky, S. Franko. The principles and ways of art interpretation of the history in the poetry have been established. The specification of the concepts' modeling of Cossacks' epoch and its components in the works by P. Kulish, S. Rudansky, I. Franko, Yu. Fedkovych and their multifunctionality have been defined. The peculiarities of the image creation have been compared in the works of the Ukrainian, Russian and Polish literatures and also it had been defined their typological ideologically-art aspects, creative ways, images' microsystems.
