The subjekt of inquiry is M. Ivchenko's prose. The aim is to observate the specialties of semantics and poetics of M. Ivchenko's prose. The research methods are structural-semiothic, elements of biographical, cultural-historic, comparative. The results and novelty: for the first time the thesis is devoted to the complex analysis of specialties of poetics of M. Ivchenko's prose, that includes the research of structure and semantics of prose works. The field of application: the courses of history of Ukrainan literature of the first third of the 20-th century.
