Essay

Based on the systems research approach 144 married couples aged from 65 to 82, which men were hospital patients for the reasons of somatic disease (cardiovascular pathology and / or pathocrine and support-motor apparatus pathology) were analyzed. 112 testees representing sexually dissatisfied married couples made up main group, the rest of 32 sexually satisfied married couples made up control group of a research. This analysis showed up importance of sexual adaptation for the elderly aged married couples and contributed to the elaboration of its psycho correction system. It was defined such factors as mental disadaptation, decreased sexual activity, disruption of family communication and of family functioning, along with personal and social-psychological peculiarities of both partners - emotional, vexatious-timid, affective-exalted accentuations of both women and men, dysthymia of women, incitement and fixedness of men, along with anxiety of personal and responsive origin (p<0,01); decrease of achievement motivation, dependence on the object of emotional attachment, reduced tolerance threshold against stress of women and passivity need, motivational strategy of avoiding failures, pejorism in own perspectives assessment, rigidity in taking decisions, lack of self-confidence of men (p<0,01); law-leveled self-esteem and self-respect of a couple (p<0,01), - compose phenomenon of elderly aged married couple disadaptation. Highlighted variants and forms of disadaptation within elderly aged married couples are as follows: I. Neurotic (31,3±4,6%). A. Depressive phobic-anxious (25±4,3%). B. Communicative (6,3±2,4%). II. Somatic (47,3±5,0%). III. Combined disactualization (21,4±4,1%). Based on the received data differentiated psycho correction system aimed at disadaptation of elderly aged married couples was elaborated. Its implementation enabled disposition of psychopathological features of depressive phobic-anxious origin within all married couples, as well as improved sexual function of 65,2±4,8% men and of 73,2±4,4% women and renewed marital adaptation of 71,4±4,5% married couples.
