Essay

In the Dissertation the politological science analysis of political activity of citizens is carried out as a necessary factor of democratization of Ukrainian society. It is determined that political activity in the conditions of democratization must be examined as activity on constructing of political space through institutionalization of negotiations between power and civil society. Political activity is considered in a socio-political aspect as the greatest point of evolution of the political system which foresees the direct plugging of all layers of population in practice communicative interactive to monitoring of the field of policy with the possibility of unlimited legitimate influence of civil society and its separate elements on the agents of the political system. The special attention is spared to the analysis of objective and subjective factors, which complicate the process of democratization of the political system of Ukraine on the modern stage, and also to the development of base directions of political activity of citizens, and possible ways their practical realization are offered. It is discovered that among the factors which negatively influence on the processes of democratic transformations in the Ukrainian society there is a shortage of unity between the representatives of higher echelon of power and great folk masses, and also the absence of the valued system, which would answer the queries of society and promote its consolidation. Therefore, among the models of democracy for Ukraine most acceptable ( on the nearest prospect) is consensus democracy after which not a single subject of political relations mustn't be excluded from a political process.
