Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of theoretical and methodological terms, grounding the theoretical and methodological terms, the elaboration of practical recommendations to improve processes of formation and operation of distribution channels in the marketing of commercial enterprises in Ukraine. The paper investigated and clarified the theoretical position of formation and operation of distribution channels in the marketing of commercial enterprises, improved conceptual and categorical aid research distribution channels of trade enterprises. Grounded system of concepts and categories: distribution, distribution policy, distribution channels. The paper formed and practically tested system performance marketing channels (allocated 2 performance parts: the current efficiency and strategic effectiveness); analysis of current trends in the formation of distribution channels on the food market of Ukraine, their features in some food sectors; made scenario forecast of trade in food products in Ukraine. In the thesis the author developed a methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of decisions on development and optimization of distribution channels and suggested improving the organizational structure of distribution channels based on the creation of business networks.
